Summary & Impact Assessment
The following updated version of platform.vial.com (v1.0.66) includes the launch of 'Unscheduled Visit' management to the Vial EDC.
This version update poses little to no risk of impact on existing study data integrity, nor the overall stability and security of the platform. Overall system validation has been performed on new functionality, and existing functionality has been re-validated to ensure this version’s changes does not cause impact.
New Features
Unscheduled Visits
CRC & PI users can now create 'Unscheduled Visits' for subjects
Unscheduled Visits create new folders, allowing the user to select one (or many) procedures/forms from the Protocol to be added to the new folder
Each Unscheduled Visit is tracked in it’s own folder, and organized at the bottom of each subjects’ visit schedule page
Unscheduled Visits dates are editable
