Summary & Impact Assessment
The following updated version of platform.vial.com (v1.0.57) comes with general improvements to the EDC component of the platform, as well as IRT integration support. This version also launches a supported 'Tablet Mode' web-based experience for tablet and/or small-screen devices.
v1.0.57 update poses little to no risk of impact on your study’s data integrity, nor the overall stability and security of the platform. Overall system validation has been performed on new functionality, and existing functionality has been re-validated to ensure this version’s changes does not cause impact.

Tablet Mode
Launching platform.vial.com now supports a curated web-based experience for tablet devices, which includes enhanced design & UI responsiveness, as well as tablet-only features like video recording.
IRT Integration
The Vial EDC platform now allows for, on a per-study basis, the ability to create & update subjects from 3rd-party IRT systems, like 4G Clinical.
